    Obviously C.

    Since most of your readers probably study or know quite a bit about architecture i guess i dont have to explain myself. It's something about the pattern and surrounding that tell me it just have to be C. B would create a dull neighborhood and no one want that. A is just square and not even the golden ratio, so thats obviously not the correct answer either. C on the other hand is exciting and new.

    I didn't say it was a neighbourhood, did I? ;-) And even if it were, I'm not sure I agree with you. I believe in modest and humble architecture for most situations, not architecture screaming for attention by applying extreme contrasts.

    Yes i totally agree with you. Subtle contrast are most exciting. I was just making fun of what seem to be the current ideal in architecture, at least if you look on the supercommercial kind of architecture (dubai etc).
